The work of a researcher

Produce more than
an assignment.

Carry one worthwhile question from the literature to a rigorous result with your name and contribution attached.

01

Define the study

Read prior work, find a gap, and set the data, baselines, and metrics.

02

Run the research

Build, experiment, document, analyze, and revise with team review.

03

Publish the result

Complete a report, poster, code repository, and symposium presentation.

Meeting room

Room L208.

Our in-person club meetings are held on campus in L208.

Meeting schedule

First & third Fridays.

We meet twice each month: on the first and third Friday.

Between meetings

Team work sessions.

Members continue through shared documents, repositories, experiments, and research review.

Small, focused research teams

Serious questions.
Complementary talent.

Each team combines shared interests, complementary strengths, and an ambitious but defensible project scope.
